Location of the audition: Concerto Budapest Zeneház/Music House, addres: 1094 Budapest, Páva utca 10-12.Candidates are required to present the following works:

Round I
J.S. BACH:
G minor Adagio and Fugue
or C major Adagio and Fugue
or A minor Grave and Fugue
and Paganini: Caprice of your choice

Round II
Bartok, Beethoven, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Dvořák, Sibeliusconcertos first movement with cadenza, second and third movement with cadenza

Round III
Beethoven sonata of your choice

Orchestra solos:
Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade – solo parts
Beethoven: Missa Solemnis – Sanctus
Richard Strauss: A Hero’s Life – solo parts
Richard Strauss: Zarathustra – solo parts

Orchestra excerpts:
Mozart: Symphony No. 39 in E-flat major, K. 543
Beethoven: Symphony No 9.
Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream suite – Scherzo
Bartok: Concerto –5th movements
Schumann: Symphony No.2 – 2nd movements
Strauss: Don Juan

The orchestra excerpts will be sent to all applicants by e-mail. Piano accompanist will be available at the audition.
