Year after year since 2018, Concerto Budapest has dedicated a day-long series of concerts to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the eternal favourite of classical music, or rather to our shared and unquenchable passion for Mozart. And so it is on the second Sunday in March 2025.
Since 2018, Concerto Budapest has been dedicating a one-day concert series each year to the eternal favorite of classical music, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – or rather, to the world’s shared and unquenchable passion for Mozart.
"Mozart's music restores the lost Paradise, as he was able to express the wonder of human existence through sound. In his works, both joy and sorrow are conveyed with nobility, yet in a simple and natural way. If we surrender ourselves to his music, we can find peace."

On the second Sunday of March 2026, the Liszt Academy will once again host this inspiring festival, which condenses the essence of the composer’s genius into a single day and turns the gathering of Mozart enthusiasts into a celebration. During this hugely popular Mozart Day, audiences can experience some of the composer’s most beautiful works in concentrated form, performed by star soloists throughout an entire day. The program includes chamber music, concertos, and symphonies, showcasing the richness and diversity of Mozart’s artistry for all generations.
This year’s festival will feature outstanding artists such as Elisabeth Leonskaja, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Mihály Berecz, Máté Szűcs, Csaba Klenyán, and the Keller Quartet, whose presence brings special prestige to the event.
As in previous years, Mozart Day will also include a special program for children: thanks to Izabella Simon, the youngest audience members will have the chance to engage with Mozart’s music in the Dome Hall. The all-day event will once again be hosted by music historian András Batta, CEO of the House of Hungarian Music.
