This season ticket series of Concerto Budapest parades classical masterpieces, specialities and contemporary works of Hungarian music in the Pest Vigadó. The four concerts feature massively gifted young instrumentalists – from violinist Maria Włoszczowsk to pianist Mihály Berecz – under the baton of Zoltán Rácz, Ádám Medveczky, Domonkos Héja and András Keller. Recitals of pieces by Erkel, Liszt, Bartók and Kodály are joined by two modern-day masters, László Dubrovay and Zoltán Jeney, and the third concert in the series will have the Cello Concerto by Miklós Rózsa, Oscar-winning Hollywood film director, with solo by Ildikó Szabó. This is going to be a real discovery.
